The Elwha Dam RV Park is located beside the beautiful Elwha River Canyon and former Dam site. Please check out our new information page on the Elwha Dam history and its removal.
We're open all year with 50 full hookups and 2.5 separate acres for tenters. We have recently added new modern restrooms, larger laundry facilities, a meeting/gathering room, and a large patio.
We are a highly sought after park where customers tell us time and time again we are one of the nicest parks they have visited. The inexhaustible wonderment of the Peninsula is all around us for you to explore during your stay.
The Park recently has new owners, David and Chris, who say they looked for over a year from the tip of Washington to the bottom Oregon to find the perfect park. They are managing the RV park with their family who are caring people and eager to serve. They all agree this park is really a peaceful, healing place to live. They say, "It is hard to find a place that has the best of all worlds, but here at the Elwha it seems you do: the mountain peaks that stand in the distance; the splendor of the forest, lakes, and waterfalls; the Straight of Juan De Fuca and ocean experience 5 minutes away; a Victoria, BC international experience just a boat ride away; plus a community of service that suits a families needs. Port Angeles truly is a unique place."
“They agree with the previous owner, that "It will always be the site of the old dam, so it will still be ‘The Best RV Park by a Dam Site',” deserving of the 5 consecutive Best of Port Angeles Awards in the Recreational Vehicle Parks.
You'll find us conveniently located off Scenic Highway 112, in a peaceful setting in the woods, but just 10 minutes from the amenities of Port Angeles, WA, and 10 minutes from the ferry to Victoria, B.C. The Elwha Dam R.V. Park is convenient to fishing, boating and beachcombing on the North Olympic Coast, and the hiking, scenery and hot springs of Olympic National Park. Come join us for a night, or a longer visit, and see why the Elwha Dam R.V. Park is such a great place to stay. We're proud of our park, and proud of the recognition and awards we're getting.
