The first ocean beach and the Olympic Discovery Trail are only a couple miles from our campground. Not too much further on is our beautiful glacial Lake Crescent, the Olympic National Park waterfall trailheads, and the Hoh Rainforest.

We feel incredibly lucky to have stumbled upon this gem of a place. We arrived late in the afternoon, and, by some stroke of luck, managed to choose a spot that we thought was perfect. However, the next morning, we realized that we had actually set up camp in the wrong campground. Despite the mix-up, we decided not to move because this place turned out to be absolutely enchanting.
